Logic Instruments launches FieldBook rugged tablet

Planning to buy a new rugged tablet for doing work in field? Here's a new rugged tablet. Developed by Logic Instruments, the FieldBook is 7" tough mobile computer boasting water- and dust-proof design. What's more, the FieldBook is even MIL-STD810G certified.


The device is based on Intel's Atom 1.6GHz processor and features 2GB RAM, 7" sunlight readable touchscreen display, 120GB hard drive, 64GB SSD, Intel GMA 500 graphics and Windows 7.

Other features include Wireless, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, SD card slot, 2MP camera, and RFID or Bar code reader.

The Logic Instruments' FieldBook is available for $2,895.
